Art Paper is a premium grade, wood-free paper that is coated on both sides with a mixture of mineral pigments (kaolin clay) and binders. This coating fills the tiny gaps between fibers, creating a surface that is exceptionally smooth and uniform.

Gloss Art Paper: Has a shiny, reflective finish.

Matte Art Paper: Has a non-reflective, subtle finish (often called Dull Art).

In the packaging industry, 157gsm Art Paper is the most common material used to laminate (wrap) onto Grey Board to create rigid luxury boxes

Superior Ink Holdout: 

The coating prevents ink from sinking deep into the paper fibers. Instead, the ink sits on top, resulting in sharper dots and more vibrant images.

High Gloss / Smoothness:

Calendered to a high finish, offering a premium tactile feel and a shiny appearance that enhances photographic quality.

Double-Sided Consistency:

Both sides are treated equally, making it perfect for double-sided printing (brochures, magazines).
