Grey Cardboard is a heavy-duty, uncoated paperboard made from 100% recycled waste paper (typically recycled newsprint and mixed paper). It is solid grey throughout its structure. Unlike Duplex board, it is rarely used for direct printing. Instead, it serves as the sturdy "skeleton" or core material that is laminated with printed art paper or specialty paper. It is the industry standard for rigid packaging and bookbinding.

High Rigidity & Stiffness: 

It resists bending and deformation, providing a strong internal structure for boxes.

Surface Flatness:

 High-quality grey board must be perfectly flat (non-curling) to ensure that the final laminated box looks premium and bubble-free.

Lamination Suitability:

The surface is treated to adhere well to glues, making it perfect for covering with Art Paper, Fancy Paper, or Leatherette.

Die-Cut Performance:

It can be rotary cut or die-cut cleanly without fraying edges, essential for puzzle manufacturing and complex box shapes.
